tri beam ducer

if any of you have the old tribeam with the red band on the puck call vexilar they will replace it for free due to faulty manufacturing no matter how old

Above is a pick of the old tribeam. The potting material would expand/shrink with temp changes and caused the red cap to crack. Vexilar has always been top notch on replacing them.

Below is the new style that is superb! Only the bottom is red.

the old style was prone to cracking and that kept me away for quite a while till the released the new version of the tri beam.no problems with the new style yet.

I just picked up a new FL-18 that had the Old style Tribeam. Called up Vexilar and they sent me out the new one. Even gave me a Vexilar fish towel for the inconvenience! Great job Vexilar and thanks for taking care of your customers!
