I got 2 that are winter related.

I picked up a handheld fish finder. I've played with it a couple times, but still have a lot to learn on it before the ice hits.

The other is a larger Woodstove. The small one I had just couldn't cut it when it really got cold. I should get longer than a 3 hour burn out of this one too!

My purchase was a used 6 inch mora auger with the offset handle I bought the mora to laser conversion kit off ebay. now just got to get blades for it.. that's all I have bought so far hopefully the list will grow sooner or later..

Little buddy heater - regular buddy was just to fritzy and cumbersome in the flip over .
Abu Garcia C3 4500 baitcaster for jigging lakers . I dig the size , quality and set up .

I went big this year with upgrading my setup. I bought an ATV to get me out to the spots that were always too far to walk to and I picked up a Strikemaster Electra Lazer 12000 dp Electric Auger. I'm also going to be ordering another 5 Heritage Laker Tip-ups soon. I bough a couple at the end of last season and was really impressed with them. I want a full set of them for this year. I can't wait to hit the ice. Mrs. Creature is already annoyed with it because I have been talking about ice fishing every day since June!

stocked up a lot last season for the short of the season we had this past season only got one new item and that's a chart plotter setup for the atv was gunna use the hook 9 for a big screen view but why chance the $$$$ so I picked up the elite 5 chartplotter instead

with some help from a fellow is member(3300) i went with a ridgid cordless drill for a 7" lazer auger. this site rocks for sure. lots of helpful info and people willing to share it.

I didn't get any ice fishing toys yet this year. I sold my old tin can canoe last spring and picked up a nice fishing kayak for the soft water and I put a Lowrance FF on it. It has an ice setting and I'm curious how it will work on the ice so I'll be setting it up in a genz box. I want to find an ice 'ducer for it though. I want to pick up a couple inline reels this year too but I'm still just in the "thinking about it" phase.

The little fishtrax 1c that I picked up has a flasher mode. I tried to get it to work last weekend but couldn't get it to switch over. It looks like I'm goi g to have to read the manual again.

Finally an Eskimo auger bag for my power head.. been wanting one for years. No more slushing and freezing of the auger. Such a cheap investment to keep the auger free of damage. Everyone should have one.

Shappell Bay Runner shanty. Couldn't find one anywhere in stock last year.

Put it together today. I think its going to be a great shack - very solid. Basically a quick folding tent over a wide jet sled tub. Sight fishing in a blackout shanty is the best.

Can't wait to get it out on the ice.

I got a great deal on a craigslist purchase a couple days ago. 15 Heritage Laker tip-ups with line already on them for $200. The guy bought them last year, used them once and realized he doesn't like the cold. His loss, my gain.

Nothin'....... not a danged, doggone thing.

Already have enough stuff for a couple small armies. Y'all will eventually get over the want for more stuff. I say want, because need has nothing to do with it.

Acquired an older Polaris snowmobile over the Summer that runs great. Can't wait to use that to be even more mobile. Also picked up a Marcum VS485 camera. Can't wait to use that on the ice. Messed around with it on the boat this fall and the clarity is awesome!

I bought the upgrade to my vex so it reads out depth digitally now :-), Only big when first setting up but, handy, as I'm partially color blind and figuring out what the depth is on a color coded chart is a pain.....:-) can see fish and strikes alright but figuring out which color depth to read against....

Picked up a Marcum LX-6s which should be a significant upgrade from my old Humminbird.

Also have my eye on the new Black Betty Freefall reel...that thing looks exactly like the reel I've been waiting for.

Made my own electric auger out of a 12 volt winch with overhead crane controls and I've got a winch that lifts my shanty up behind my 4 wheeler most of the guys on Cayuga know me on here I was called Mr perch,like Oneida just to far to travel 100$ in fuel for 3 eyes can't justify it unless you throw 20 or 30 jumbo perch no it,then that's a day !!
