Legend, "tog" is short for Tautog, commonly known as blackfish. The season opens today, they hang around rocky reefs and jetties scrounging for crabs. Curley is probably out right now, I passed because there's a small craft warning in effect this morning.

We got out yesterday and kept 10 between 4 of us caught enough for a limit but two guys didn't want a lot of fillets. Biggest was just shy of 13lbs and got released. I also caught the biggest trigger fish I have ever seen.

Nice day Carl. Togzilla tug-of-war for us this morning, biggest about 8. For those who haven't caught one, they fight like nothing else. Total bulldogs heading for bottom and rocks. How awesome would it be if we could icefish for them? On a 28" medium jigging rod?

Fish were super finicky yesterday and you had to swing at anything that even remotely felt like a hit. We had Albies blowing up around us all morning prolly could have got a couple of not for the 25 knot wind which made casting to anything but strate down wind almost impossible. Probably try to sneak out after work one day this week. Where you launching out of Eiderz? We came out of Groton the other day probably head outta there again if I make it back down. The sportfish is out of the water for the year so that leaves me my bass boat.... I'll be picking my days lol

I'm gearing up for my first hunt this year. Going on the rifle season with my dad. Bought a model 70 featherweight in 30-06. It's sweet. Been tracking them on my camera. Can't Wait to get out there

I only got the back portion of the lungs, heart was fine, so he ran until he was dry. I gutted it though. One of my big hunting buddies raced to the property and walked me through it

First batch of tacos were awesome. Two seasons ago I put in a fair amount of time trying for walleye. Wrong spot wrong time I guess
