I'm getting antsy

How about the rest of the ice fanatics out there.  I know  it's  only September  but I can't  wait. I'm ready for it to start getting cold.  My wife thinks I am crazy maybe I am. Maybe I am.

I was just talking to the wifey last night about a trip up to Cascade this winter. She can't believe ice fishing trips are already being planned.

It was 48 degrees and rainy here this morning.  Come on inversion.  Jk. It's only a matter of time now. Got my rod's out of the attic.  Gonna put new line on this weekend.

Been in the 30's the past few weeks at night ;D, lost a 100 mater plants Tuesday morn :'(.  That is alright getting kind of tired of growing stuff.

I have been buying ice fishing gear left and right I even made a tip-down rig, I think I'm a little overstocked on fishing gear though for just one guy but I sure know that me and a few people  (6 plus Me) should have 5 tip-ups /rods each

Yup I'm feeling it too as I start to see signs of fall in the air!  Love it this time of year!  Boise ST football, Idaho Steel Heads Hockey, blowing out the sprinklers and mowing for the last time this year.... ;D and after deer season in October I will be really feeling the need for some serious Ice around the corner.  Plenty to look forward too!

My son and I fished Cascade the first part of June for several days and hammered the big perch. I have five days scheduled mid Feb after the scheduled tournament to fish it, ice permitting. :)

got out the ice poles and reels and charged up the vex and hit a dock up on the lake.  had some very strange looks as most around here do not ice fish.  though that our short poles were funny.  was not as funny when we fired up the vex's and nobody but us were catching fish.  bring on the ice.
