« on: Aug 16, 2016, 01:57 PM »
Now that CT Outfitters is gone does anyone know where I can get frozen herring or large bait for ice fishing pike this year?

Thanks

Give Vennie a call at the Fishing Factory in Southington. They are a bait distributer in the back. She should either have it or can get it.
Talked to the guy at Tag's Tackle in Plainville. Said he distributes as well and sells bait by the pound as Gary did. He told me he bought 5 trailers of stuff from Gary and he's pricing it to move.

If you know where to find them the can be easily had in large numbers using a sabiki.  Now is the time to find them.
