Cabin rentals Lake Champlain
« on: Aug 09, 2016, 01:31 PM »
I am looking for a place to rent a cabin this winter for a 3 or 4 Day weekend preferably on Lake Champlain. Any recommendations would be welcome.
In winter we become gods and walk on water....

Winterized camps on the lake that are available to rent in the winter may be difficult to find.

Water systems on most have been drained to prevent freezing/bursting and most are uninsulated.
May the fish be with you.

Does it have to be a cabin? Because as said, Holiday Harbor is right on the water with lodge/motel style rooms. Great place.

You can't go wrong at Holiday harbors in North Hero. Right on the water and bait and tackle right there too. Bruce is a great host and will give you some local knowledge . We have been fishing there every February and always have a blast with the Pike.

Indeed.  Just keep in mind Bruce is looking to retire...not sure if ownership has changed hands yet...

Jon I talked to Bruce a few days ago. He still owns it.
You can't beat his place or his hospitality. Gonna be a sad day when he does give up the ownership. Added an extra day to trip there this February. Frank 80 days from today. But whose counting. LOL.
