It was 70* and 90% humidity when I got up at 5:30. I had the place opened up to get some fresh air in here, but closed back up before the sun hits!! I'm ready for some cooler weather!!

That has been my routine for seems like over the last 2 months, close the windows before the sun comes up.

We've had overnight temps in the mid 70's and high humidity, so couldn't open up or I'd lose my cool, literally!!!!!

i cant wait to open my windows and let some fresh air in the house.winter is great but I will settle for the cool mornings/days of fall first.its been 88 to over 90 for too long here with high humidity..SUMMER SUCKS.

Would be nice to have those 50 degree mornings back, especially working on building the house, do not have the roof completed yet so do not want any showers, but would be nice for the mountain fire to slow down, but a lot of them needed to burn since we are not allowed to log any more, well this will open some areas up for grass to grow to feed the elk and deer so they can feed the wolves and grizzly bears. Maybe even feed me if i can find one to shoot, hopefully we will be able to chase the wolves and grizzly bear one day soon.

We've had quite a few fires in the Black Hills too. Since they closed all the trails that we used to use to go get the bug trees for firewood, there's nothing but red tops, so nothing but fuel. Oh well, I agree, fires need to happen. Can't wait for fall fishing and football!

90 degrees and dewpoints in the 70's here in MN. As I get older I start to hate the humidity more and more. I'm definitely a cool temp guy.

Agreed! I'm ready for fall just because the fishing gets better, and the vertical jigging for walleyes is practice for winter

It's so warm around here the fish feel hot when you take them out of the water.. that's the main reason i have been hanging around the forums is don't want to damage the fish fishing for them the hot water gets them tired real fast.. so I have been avoiding going tIll it cools off a tad... way to warm for them fish ...mortality is why Iam trying to avoid...small lake and fish dieing off is not good..

I'm with chilly-willy. Last weekend was my last foray on the lake until the water temps drop. Fishing has been terrible anyways for a couple of weeks now. Been looking at the new gear coming this fall and thinking about what else I need to get for the Polar Bird 3T I picked up late season ready to fish. Gonna need some comfy chairs and some extra ice anchors and some ratchet straps to replace the nylon tie downs that came with it. Maybe a little portable table too. Always something!

Gonna be another scorcher here in SW Iowa. My Gawd winter can't get here soon enuff. Did stumble across a pond last week that supposedly is full of 12- 15 crappie and 8-10 in gills. Owner was fantastic and sez I can fish it, just respect the property. (that's pretty much a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned). Got a freezer full of panfish now so I think I'm going to save this pond for ice fishing.

The temp. got to 94* yesterday, with the humidity, it felt like 114* - today is sure to be more of the same
