 I am looking at one on cl for $225. I have a vexi fl8, that except for a couple of batts, and a transducer, has been flawless. I wouldn't mind a backup though, or for when I take someone out. Anybody own this unit? and review if you would

I have an Ice-45. The 55 is a fine machine and for that price, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. The Vex will become your back up.

I own one and for that price I'd buy 2! You cant go wrong.

I have one and really appreciate the large display.  One complaint-beyond 110fow it's nearly useless.  For use in deep water your much better off with a Vexilar, or for a lot less money a sonar like a Piranha 175, etc.  Fishing Keuka Lake in 175fow, I'll take the sonar, hands down. PS. I paid $400 for my ICE 55 and thought that was a very good deal.

i paid out the wazoo for my 55 years ago, still have it and love it.  bounces around in the toboggan behind my sled and keeps on purring...i think i'm on 7 years with the same unit now, same battery lasts all day.  but it and send it to me, i'll give ya $250!
