Brutal US winter, drought in California

In addition to the change in the weather pattern that will be favorable for the upcoming active hurricane seasons, Mr. Dilley says the 2016-17 winter weather pattern will be dramatically different from last winter in many regions – with the upcoming winter pattern becoming more similar to the one that caused the cold Arctic Vortex outbreaks to plunge southward during the very cold 2014 and 2015 winters and a continuation of the California drought.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Bitter cold, dry winter works for me.  I didn't get out a whole lot last year.

Been working in LA (Lower Alabama ) for the last 9 months, I really got to experience what hot weather is really like. Finish up next month can't wait to shiver The guys down here
can not believe that we would actually drill a hole and wait for fish to come to it. A few plan to come up & give it a try, I have told them they need plenty of clothes and warm boots.

I'm so tempted to go buy one of those pool thermometers and start probing local spots to check water temps with all this cool weather here in the area.  ;D
That's some tasty iced tea.
