Off Season Fun

I hope everyone's off season is going well. I love catching good sized gills no matter the season, definitely my favorite fish to catch whether it's 5 degrees or 80 out. Landing them on a fly rod makes it even more or a riot! I'm using my grandpa's 60-70 year old rod (according to my dad it's around that old). I hope you guys like the pics. All the fish are swimming to be caught next winter  ;)

Thanks guys, I still miss the hard water though. Last season was about a month of good ice and it is killing me that it wasn't longer.

Best way to catch a lot of bluegills. Also a great way to learn to fly fish. Nice catch!!

THERE IS NO OFF SEASON FUN!  But gills on a fly rod is a very good time. I haven't done that in a while....Nice looking fish.
