Looking for GPS program for inland lakes
« on: May 30, 2016, 10:31 PM »
Need some help.  Last year before my elk hunt, I purchased a Garmin 64s.  I was wondering, are there any chips or downloads I can purchase for this gps that can be used for ice fishing, or even open water?

I'm looking for something that will show contours, names, and of course be able to mark "hot" spots.

Garmin makes several chips ...Lake Vu

also you can make custom maps

also base camp and home port allows you to work from home plotting courses

I have the Garmin Etrex 20 and have used/made custom maps pretty easy ...
