He was a helluva guitarist. I recently bought one of his songbooks and have been working on some of his stuff. I play a lot of Eric Johnson instrumentals and Jerry Reed's is even harder and more complex. Lotsa chicken-pickin. RIP talented brother!  :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

OK, I'll give JR a tip 'o the hat to being an icon of his genre/time, but sorry man. I can't even listen to it once.

I'd rather tune into Bach's 3rd Brandenburg than anything "country". Or Stones or Zeppelin circa early '70s ...... Just me, and no offense intended.
