trying to fish the averill lakes on opening week of trout season... think the ice'll be gone?

It might be. Island Pond still has at least two more weeks to go if we get some warm weather. Big and Little Averill should be comparable.

Canadiens are already out fishing for walleyes in boats.
On the us side of Magog.
Every year there out there ice out, I don't know how they don't get fined?
