will depend on what your doing with it.
ice fishing with a tiny 3mm ant shaped jig will be tough. if the water is stained will hinder that too. looking for fish in open water will be fine.

so that's the 20 degree ducer you asked about? power levels will probably be different for it from marcums current crystal i'd think, but if it works that's all that matters.

no I was asking about the Marcum 20 degree but I thought the zercom might work on it too;sure enough it does.

nice, so maybe another angle other than 20 degree you can use on it. will be good to know if they are wide angle and wanted to use it in open water.

3300 can you post a pic here of the dual beam plug      I'm wondering about that straight up or a upgrade possibly with the LX 2

I can use my marcum LX6 in 80ft with the 20deg setting on and mark panfish jigs. I switch back and forth between the 20deg and 9deg settings because of the circumference of bottom area shown at that depth. If there are not a lot of fish around, I use the 20deg to see whats in the area. If Im on a school of perch, I switch to the 9deg to know if something is close to my jig
