The ice is gone, but good fishing is just around the corner. My prime fishing target is Crappie and Gills in both states. This time a year I do a lot of spider rigging and long line trolling from my boat. Send a PM if you would like to get this spring. Do you ever fish the St. Joe between Elkhart and South Bend for crappie?

I've fished that stretch many times, but have yet to figure out the crappie.
