River Steel
« on: Mar 19, 2016, 06:31 PM »
Got out for my first time ever for river steelies today. It was pretty slow, but I managed one nice fish! A nice hen, weighing in at 6.28 pounds. It put up a great fight. I think I've found a new addiction. Drift fishing, with two waxies on a smaller jig. I'm not sure what they're called because I'm new to this. Just wanted to share my success with some of my fellow friends on here. I hope everyone has a great off season! Tight lines and good luck to the spring turkey hunters!

I'd rather be fishing!

You're right, steelhead fishing can be addictive. 👍

steelhead fishing is very addictive.learning new techniques and collecting steelhead gear/tackle is too.one of my favorite fish to catch float fishing jigs and spawn/waxies.or having vicious strikes casting spoons and spinners.congrats on the steel.
