I just picked up the lowrance 5x chirp. I know it is to late for ice fishing this year, but. Does anyone use the transducer that comes with the unit on the ice?
I have an elite 4x with the ice ducer. I would need to buy the adapter cable to use that one.
Was just wondering if the original transducer would give better performance than the ice ducer. I know the ice ducer is much smaller than the original. But I think I can make a suitable mount for it.
