24" Rainbow caught jigging a 1/16 oz. jig tipped with a fathead minnow back in mid January. I watched on the screen of my Lowrance Elite as she came up and hit my jig, I set the hook and it was time to hang on!

Thanks. No, I didn't. This water was stocked with surplus breeders back in the fall and I was lucky enough to tie into one of the few rainbows that they put in there. It went into the broiler and then into my belly.

Excellent bow, 24" long must have weighed around 5-6 lbs.

Hard to argue that. I think that most if not all species in the trout/salmon family are beautiful looking fish.
