Lost jig box at Ironton, Lk Charlevoix, 3/6

Dropped my deep water jig box as I was walking out from the Ironton DNR launch at 12:15 PM today, Sunday 3/6. Three guys were headed in, and another guy who was headed out just behind me observed one of them pick up my jig box and drive away. I sure hope that the finder does the right thing and PM's me to arrange a return. Fishing karma, and all that.

i use a permanent marker pen and write my name and cell # to help honest people that may find some thing i might misplace like that.
not every one uses this site. no one i fish with cares about this site or any ice fishing site.
hope you had your info on it too. if not call around to the authorities and see if some one dropped it off.

Dropped my lake mapping gps this year and got it back. Sure didn't expect to but the right person picked it up. Hope you're as lucky as I was.

Got my stuff back today!!!  Long story short, through the guy-who-knows-a-guy network, I was able to locate who had the box and get it back within 24 hrs.  No harm, no foul, my own stupid fault for letting it drop from my tub and not having everything adequately tagged with contact information.  Lesson learned!

Great to see the Ice Fishing Brotherhood is still alive and strong.
I tag every piece of equipment I have with labels and also an engraver.
That way if the label falls off, the engraving is still there.
Congrats on the return of your gear.
