Hit the Meredith Rotary Derby...

Ended up going to the derby and was rewarded with a bunch of fish. We fished Winni and caught a bunch of Lakers, small mouth, few small cusk, and a white perch. Also hooked some salmon that were not taken out of the water. Surprised to be on 7 inches of solid ice. Great time as usual. Here are some pics from our weekend. Till next year everyone. Hope for a great ice season. Cheers!!!

Way to get 'er done! Looks like a blast. I stopped in Meredith with the family on the way back from the Whites yesterday and did not see anybody in the harbor. There was open water in the area around the boat slips and lots of water on top of the ice 

I plan on trying to head up there next year with the kids.

No issues for me renting a house. I actually rent a house in Alton right on the water every summer.

I arrived on Thursday and was nervous when the puddles were not frozen end'd up on winni in Gilford
4 lakers largest one 21" couple of slab perch and a crapload of salmon some of which looked to be 24+" I have to become more confident in identifying them I tortured myself thinking that some may have been rainbows
All the fish except for the perch were taken jigging which made it even more exciting
Hopefully there will be more ice next year
