The last hurrah?
« on: Feb 29, 2016, 07:57 AM »
Went out to harltand w/ my bro.+ cousins: the ice was still good-5-6" wet on top from the rain; but we were able to walk right on from the launch: after seeing how the ice was going even there throughout our day: it looks like this may be it for Connecticut this year-but it was good times on the ice: Jigged up a bunch of perch- kept dinner-let most of them go-didn't bring up one under ten inches-cousin+ brother caught+released a bass each-Don't know what my brother does; but he ALWAYS finds a good bass wherever we fish-nice time- hope to see you all out there a lot more next season. Even I am starting to get the open-water gear ready+ the icefishing gear down w/ the Christmas decorations in the basement.-Until next time....17 incher!MMM!-fried perch!Good times!
