Devils Lake, ND ice conditions?

Heading up there this Thursday through Sunday and was just curious if anybody has an idea of how the ice conditions are after this weekends weather. I did see that the forecast for this week says highs in upper 20’s to mid 30’s and low in the teens for evenings. Are they driving all around the lake and if so are there any areas we need to watch for? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Fished Devils Lake till Saturday. Ice was good. People driving everywhere with trucks. Fishing was spoty but had a great time. You should be alright. Good luck.

I fished a Twin Cities metro lake this weekend and there was still 18" of ice.  It's much farther South than Devil's Lake, but they may have more snow.

Have a trip scheduled for the 13th thru 15th, will there be ice?
