I have a 28 inch st. Croix premier medium light action. Strong enough pole to get into walleye, pike, and bass. Perfect for perch. And sensitive enough to get into pan fish. I love it mainly because the tip is sensitive but not bouncy when you are jigging spoons or heavy baits. And it has all the power a rod needs Givin you have the drag set right. If it ever gets broken I will be finding another. My father just bought the same one but the combo for 50 at gander. Just my 2 cents  ;D

Fenwick hmg 27" medium action rod with an inline reel. A lot of people hate these inline reels but if you take the time to figure it out you will never get aggravated with line twist on light jigs

It's a good eye rod but I rarely fish for them. I'll actually use it to try for splake and smaller lakers, sometimes perch. Mines 33.5, but I'd get the 29.5 if I were to get another one. Good backbone and sensitive. I fish for trout 95 percent of the time on ice.

I really like the 13 whiteout rod as well, great backbones on the ultra light and the medium rods.
Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory!
