Big pond Andes ny?

Thinking about going up to big pond Monday. I hear there's trout there but it's a deep lake. Wondering if anyone could help me with navigating it?

Really.  You can sit there many days in a row and never get a flag.  They used to dump the bigger breeder trout in there years ago.  Stocked with the usual browns in the spring.  Pretty much wiped out by the heavy summer fishing.
