Just received a pic/txt of a MONSTER eye supposedly caught at Peck today or yesterday. 17+ lbs. Anybody else hear?

if it's real it's going to be huge I've seen a 15 plus caught out of WI River by someone. The sad part is it was put in a tank probably 6 ft x 6ft. x6 ft. and it ended up dying before it's release.

The fish was caught around crooked creek.
It weight was 16lbs10oz and 31.5 inches long.
Caught by a guy from Belgrade

Same here. Some guys don't like that. We were up fishing Rock Creek one time and met some guys and they told my brother that they thought they knew him! He didn't recognize them, and then they asked if he had some pics on Iceshanty. Well he hadn't, but I had! It wasn't a big deal, but you start to realize what a powerful thing this thing is when you run into people hundreds of miles away and they have seen you before! Of course it is Montana!

That article is 16 years old, that was the previous recorded before it was broke out of tiber.. the big eye that was recently caught on peck was 17.1 just shy of the state record.. Definitely looks longer than 31.5 to me... it's a pig of a walleye
