Buy it lol.  My vex is 13 years old and it's been a tank.  But if or when I upgrade I'll be getting a Marcum,  my buddies marcum's make my vex look like a joke.  The separation and detail is a night and day difference.

Exactly why I upgraded to an lx7 this season! Love my Vex's but this 7 is one sweet machine!!!

Have you used a FLx-28? It's on a whole different level from any other model of Vexilar. Makes a FL-8 or 18 look like a old tube TV compared to a 4k UHD TV.

No I have no experience with a 28 I'm sure it's a great machine it's unfortunately about 400 bucks out of my budgit.  Maybe someday lol.

I picked up a new FL-8 Genz pack that we loan out at work and the display is killer. Bright like the 28 they definitely made some changes. I'd still buy the 28 hands down over the rest but I'm wandering if they rebuild the old 8s with the new display. If so and it only cost $60 bucks that would rock.
