Anyone who has ever used these HT rod holder tipups knows they can be a bit touchy. After a few hits and some bumps throughout the day I thought this flag was just another ghost. It was an absolute blast reeling this one in. Fish made a few real drag screaming runs once it saw the hole. My wife was even more excited, I had to keep telling her (and myself a little too probably!) to relax as I was trying to land it. Not my biggest pike, but a decent one! 9lbs 3oz, rod is 27" long for length reference.
