Where do you think this is?  DC?  Snow is already cleaned up...except for the lakes.  Hope your travels on top aren't too slushy.  Headed to Vilas Cty Thursday myself.  Hope the lakes aren't too sloppy either.  Tight lines!

I'll be headed up there (Phelps area) as well in a few weeks.

My buddy is a guide on N and S Twin, he had a few close calls with thin ice on N Twin, but since things firmed up for him after new years, he's done very well on walleyes. Good luck.

Roads are mostly bare here already, Dunn County, all major arterials are cleared, went to the local restaurant this morning and didn't hit any snow.  I think we probably got 6" or so last night, drifted in some places but not bad.  Wisconsin road crews are some of the best in the country in my opinion, that is of course unless you have somewhere to be!

Yeah, we're not DC ;) FilletShow that made me literally laugh out loud.

We really don't have that much snow on the lakes, but we do have a lot of slush, strange for such little snow. A friend drove out yesterday on 12" and today his whole undercarriage of his truck is a solid block of ice.

Yeah I've been getting around just fine on the three wheeler, if we get another 3" or so I might start having problems or need to throw the chains on.  I would think a 4x4 quad would not have any issues, guys have been driving their trucks out no problem too, when it was powder a couple days ago there were some issues with spinning the snow out and spinning back tires on 2 wheel drive but everyone seemed to power through just fine.  Like eriksat1 said with the warm weather now it's more slushy then anything.
