Island report 24th-25th

I fished sun&mon off the west shore of sbi..Lots of locals out and lots of 4 wheelers..The ice was a good 8 everywhere I checked..The water is still stained from wind and rain..I fished out about 1/4 mi towards rattle..I got 2 keepers on sun and again on mon..They were around4-5 lbs...Lots of perch and spikes mixed in...All in all a great trip..I think the ice will hold and im planning on headin back sat...Flying back this am all open south of the island...greg

How much gear can you bring over when you fly?  Or do you have a place there or something? I've always wondered how that all works.

Just heard from from my friend on the island and its a go for this weekend..Ice still holding at around 8...And one of the local guides is takin people out ....Send me a pm for info....
