Fished SP today.  We went out of Wigwam.  6-8" of clear ice everywhere we drilled.  Guys were fishing all over, Greenpoint, Elms, out in the middle.  I even saw several sleds racing all over.  Bite was decent.  All in all a great start to the season.

Pond is pretty nice. easy walking. these fishing has been ok. fished GP friday night lots of short crappie but i didnt show up till 10pm guys said the bite was good in last 20 minutes of light. fished south pond today got lots of marks but they didnt want to play. i will caution on the south pond there is a stretch of pretty rough looking ice in the middle of the pond going south north across seemed solid but watch out if cruising on a sled lots of jagged ice.

Does anyone have link where I can find the list of Sandy Pond derbies?  JBoggey put on a great derby 2 years ago and I want to go back again.
