Getting out tomorrow
« on: Jan 22, 2016, 07:10 AM »
Can't wait to FINALLY get on the ice tomorrow! Gonna be in the Canton area.
How's the bite been?  Hoping it's not an early one,  I won't be on the ice till about 10:00 am.
 :icefish:

Good Luck and be safe.

Being the weekend at Sabula, you might want to call ahead for reservations

Was in sebula Friday. Was quite a few people there. Marked a ton of fish but they were finicky to bite. Caught a few. I'm thinking the heavy pressure has taken a bit of a toll on them.

Spring lake was very slow this morning except for a few perch. Marked a lot of fish just not many takers. Caught a 20 or so inch pike and a 5 pound dogfish.
I'm what you would call an ice fishing freak.

Sunday we kept 7 perch, 1 rainbow, 2 golden rainbow, and 23 nice gills.  We caught over 100 gills and 30 perch so it was a FUN day.
Hope the weather this week doesn't ruin the ice.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
