Has anybody fish down in port Henry    I was wondering if I ice was safe yet thanks for any info

bullwagga bay is safe for walking . havent seen any atvs on it yet. its only frozen to the point of sandy beach. it skimmed out in front of port henry but will have to wait and see if it catches. few perch caught and some salmon so far but nothing major. apporx 25 fisherman on the ice today.

When was the last time someone caught any smelt at Port Henry?

last winter. especially across the lake near the bridge area. there are smelt in bullwagga now to small shore smelt.

no open water still at the bouy. there was soem guys out in boats last week there.

checked the new ice out this morning with a stiff north wind. its is broke back all the way to the bridge and bullwagga bay. all open water again.

Where do yall park for bulwaga/just south of the bridge.
Beer will get you through times of no ice better than ice will get you through times of no beer...
