Very, very, very slow.  We did catch a couple...but it took all day and everyone around us as far as we could see had the same luck or even worse. Its been a weird year this year on this lake....slow every time.

The government site has one on there.  It should give you a rough idea.

Thx. It doesn't look like its a very deep lake!  Can anyone confirm.  I found 8 metres on that map. The deepest was the south end!!

It is not very deep at all average around 10 foot.  Some deeper spots around rock island and furgeson island

Drive anywhere you want on Bittern with 4+4.  Had to move locations a few times but when we found the walleye it was fast with good size.  Truck travel on whiteswan is good can go all the way to the narrows and beyond Bite was.... well.....lets just say it was SLOW  HAHAHA   Tight Lines

It was really slow for pike, we caught one, but  caught 8 walleye in 12 feet of water. The lowered limit seems to helping the walleye population, that  and all the monster pike that have been taken out over the past four years or so.
Fishing lakes in Saskatchewan since 1980, or so.

yep...nailed it.  even the c.o. looked at me weird when i told him i had let go a 13 and 15lb.  would be nice to get 2ft of snow keep the trucks off for the rest of the season.

nice to see some teen lb pike going back.   :)  the limit only allows one pike over 75 cm yet I am sure that is not the practice.

I have never been able to understand why someone would want to keep a jack over 4 or 5 lbs let alone one in the 'teen' weight class.  Maybe guys cut jack steaks just like a salmon.  Must taste like cardboard.
