posting pics?

is there an easy way to post pics on this site in a post?  When I click the Insert Image icon I get a text box asking what the URL/ website is where the pics are...


Have the pics on my desktop and not posted on the web....any help on this?

It's pretty awful, main reason I don't ever post pics.  You have to upload them to a site like Imageshack and then link them here.
