I called out there and was told the ice is close to 12 in. I forgot to ask exactly where, but that is real good news.

I was out there today about 3PM.  Like a dozen houses and 50? guys scattered all over the lake.  I talked to one group, they had no luck.  The Dry Dock Bait shop on the north side is open but you might call first as I do not know the hours she is open.  She had shiners and fat head minnows and wax worms.  Phone # is 308-783-2782

Talked to multiple groups today and the word is the same, no bites, no fish, and no way to start the beginning of the minitare season. Got a couple of guys that have accumulated quite the way point library over the years and did just as good as everyone else. Drilled 50+ holes with nothing. might try it sunday! Fishing report is better for tomorrow, and think weird weather this morning might have been enough to turn them off. If anyone heads out tomorrow please post somthing upon return!

Was east of the lite house from 7 until 2. One perch. Guy next to us had a couple big perch and a walleye. Said he caught them between 2 and 3 in the morning. After 3 am no bites. 28 feet of water.

Fished from 9-3.  Caught 1 perch & 1 smallmouth on North side.  A lot of people out, but pretty slow from all the people I talked to.

Fished it this weekend and was very slow... A couple small eyes and few perch. Definitely slower this year vs. last.

fished it Saturday from 1-5:30 marked a lot of fish but couldn't get anything to commit. Judging by the guys off to the north of us I would say we were off the honey hole by about 30yds  ;)

It's like the dead sea, and was this past summer as well. I personally do not think lake will be worth a chit until summer 2017 based on recent sein reports.

Lots of lookers down there but nothing that will commit. Would hate to put the ice gear away for the year but haven't heard any good reports anywhere.
