"Green Box"  https://www.google.com/search?q=Lowrance+Fish+Lo-K-Tor&rlz=1C1CHWA_enUS616US616&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiOz_2Y9JjKAhXJFh4KHYywCEgQsAQIMQ&biw=1920&bih=993  Had one since the early '70s until it died a few years ago. State of the art at the time, easy to use, understand and truly miss it,

You inspired me!  I have one in the garage unopened but used from eBay that was like new.  I should rig it for a 12v system and try it!

Anyone try these things anymore? I have an older hummingbird flasher that we use once in a great while, has to be 20 plus years old. It definitely takes some patience to use as its slow to find the smaller jigs. Gain isn't very strong, battery life is short. Amazing how far flashers have come

snip the wires back where they join the battery board and just use a 12 volt flasher battery

how are the old ray jeffersons It was in a large metal box that took two of the big 6V lantern battery's. It had a very nice transducer mount that clamped to your transom like a trolling motor and the handle would flip the ducer up or down when you needed it.
