The community thread for walleye has thousands of good tips! Having said that do you all tip your slender spoons with like wax worms or fish them without?

Keep it safe! JDL

Disco ball jig for walleye. Gold or silver. Put the hook in the minnows/chubs mouth as far back as u can then Out the top of there head. Let it drop to just above the bottom. Then lift and drop at least 3' until fish come in. When they chase it pull it away. If they r active u cannot pull it away fast enough. Then cross there eyes!

Jigging raps and spoons work best for us tipped with minnows but we usually fish walleye on the river.

I like to use either 1/8 oz slender spoon or a ultra light rippin' rap.  Both with a minnow head on the treble!  I like using the rippin' rap during mid day approaching evening bite.  I noticed the noise brings them into the area and then when the bite picks up your busy reeling them in!
