Propane recall from Costco

Received a recall letter in the mail this week. Apparently the propane manufacturer did not use enough odourant as per CSA. Any tanks filled between May 30th, 2014 and March 4th, 2015 may be affected and can be complimentary exchanged.

I would think the whole vessel would have to be replace...or is there a method of purging the contents? :-\
