Looks like the same gross char they stock around here. I like to use a small landing net when I'm doing that, it keeps me from taking a shower every time you catch a fish. What they need to learn how to do is catch those fish barehanded instead of using the rod way more fun.

Pretty sure that's not Alaska. Most of uncut angling is done in Saskatchewan and Manitoba Canada
