Small waters

Is there a place on the state web that will tell me about smaller bodies of water to fish? I don't have a 4 wheeler or snow machine. Coming up to the Webster area in 2 weeks going to wing it. Just looking for a place to start.

Chances are with the extremes forcast, you will be able to drive onto the lake in 2 weeks

Start West of Brookings on 81, Arlington on up the road to Poinsette
there are quite a few smaller bodies of water around that side of Brookings

Maybe a rookie at this game but willing to travel for the BITE....

Don't know you're headed, but you can stop at Cowboys on hyw 212 in Watertown. They can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

Stop at the Sportsman's Cove Bait Sshop in Webster and talk to Doug, (owner), or anyone working there.  They will give you the straight scoop and also sell good bait and very fair prices.  Good luck!
