I was on Rice Lake in Emmons county yesterday. Punched about 50 holes and didn't mark a fish on the Vex. Gave up after 2 hours.

Is this the one with the flooding problems? If so ive fished it in the summer and have heard its ok during the winter. I wasnt really impressed with it. If your in that area I would be focusing on Audubon or Darling.

Emmons county is southeast of Bismarck, this Rice Lake is about 2 mile from the ND/SD state line. I've winter fished the Rice Lake south of Minot too. I've had good luck in the past with walleye and pike out of it.
