underwater camera choices
« on: Nov 25, 2015, 07:06 PM »
I've been hording a stack of B.P.S. gift cards for a while now, I'm very interested in an underwater camera for lake trout fishing this season. I think I've narrowed my choices down to the Aqua vue 715c or a Marcum vs485c from the selection at BPS. I was hoping to hear some pros/cons on the two units if anyone could share their thoughts.... I've been using a Marcum lx5 for a while with zero complaints so I'm leaning that way, but still would like to learn as much as possible about both. Thanks all, Happy Turkey day

There is information in this thread...

Also... if you plan on fishing deeper than 50 ft. then the cable on the 715c wouldn't be long enough..

Don't know about either unit but you might want to read up on this. Might help you save some money. I did this with Gander Mountain and was able to save $20.
