saw some skim today

Very little, just a start, but never the less, I saw some ice on some local back wood ponds today...its probably gone this evening, but hey, water is getting colder  ;)  The skim wasn't covering the whole ponds, just parts and pieces...but yippie.

Saw my first skim of ice today on the birch run ponds in Allegany on my way steelhead fishing. First bit of ice i've seen. It's got me excited for ice season, hopefully only a month away! :tipup:
