My son and I went last year and had a fun time.  All the people who put it on and where out helping and organizing were great.  We are looking forward to getting out there again this year. 👍🎣

Hoosier, great to see a group being proactive about getting kids involved in the outdoors! They are the future of our sport, and it's awesome to see events like this that will get youths out on the hard water catching some fish as opposed to sitting around a TV or playing Xbox One all weekend. ;)

Some from Washington, Utah, and Wyoming.
Thank you to all the great sponsors, without them it would be hard to put this event on.

Should the kids call in to pre-register or show up the morning of the fishing clinic?

Will MT FWP waive need for fishing licenses, for parents/kids 15-16 who don't have one, for the clinic?

(I definitely have my license...wouldn't go anywhere without it lol)

Ok, thank you for the info and all that you have done with the clinic.  I took my son last year and he/we had alot of fun.  Going to try to get my 5 yr old daughter out there with us this year so they both can enjoy it.

You guys will have to let me know how it goes.  I am glad that I could donate some tackle, and knowing that it will go towards helping to put a smile on a kid's face is well worth the cost of the donation.

Hope the weather cooperates and all goes well!!

We were wondering what might happen to the fishing clinic day if this predicted warmer weather, coming up next week, might make the edges/ice questionable on the pond?

The weather "guessers" have it predicted to be in the upper 40's to low 50's (😱😡) from this coming Tuesday through the weekend.

Hope fore cooler weather.
If the Ice is note safe we will have to reschedule or hopefully not cancel.
Have to think of safety as #1.
Will check the Ice next Tuesday and make a decision.
Will post the results on here and best I can elseware.

Was on the ice at Frenchtown pond about 5:15pm and it is really good.
A good solid 10" everywhere I drilled.
It has a good cover of snow and pray the nights stay cool and the ice will make it.
SO far its still on, will check it again Thursday and post again.
People had been fishing it today and skating in spots cleared off.
