Way to go hunt2001 on your success in the tourney.

Man, after hearing what the WSA is doing I am defiantly staying off the Qu'Appelle Lakes for the rest of the season now. Last Mountain Lake is iffy for me also. :-\

Be safe everyone.

Not much water on surface, around shorelines it's starting to get wet.

I was out today/yesterday had another interesting day to say the least. Landed a 21lb pike on the tip up with one quick strike treble fairly deep I cut the tip up line grabbed the mouth spreader and then went to use my pliers on the hook.. that's where things went bad in a hurry lol. The mean mama decided to thrash at just the right time causing the second loose treble to lodge itself nicely passed the barb in the top of the index finger. Now I'm not sure how many of you have had the pleasure of being hooked to a 21lb pike but it left me with the option of just grabbing the big quick strike treble in  my finger with the pliers yanked it out without a second thought lol. Having my finger 1 inch from some nasty teeth and with both me and the fish being hooked safe to say I had adrenaline going by this point so the removal was painless. A little blood loss and a hole in my finger later I got the weight and that mean mama was released probably in better condition than she left me lol.

caught another 14lb pike and about a dozen dink walleye and 10 decent perch. Fingers a little swollen, a little sore but in the end could have been alot worse if the mean sucker starting thrashing again!

would one  still be able to walk on mission this weekend (lebret side) or has the ice deteriorated  too much?

Ice on Mission was pretty rotten already last weekend but about twenty inches thick.

Punch a few holes and check it again closer to shore before you go out to far though, that would be what i would do.

Gonna give echo a try tomorrow, how's the north east side of the lake been lately? Have only gotten out once this year and need to get at least one more day on the ice before the seasons done

Fished westend of pasqua this morning lots of tulibees and 2 dinky walleyes, water visibility is aweful cause there lots of current going threw. The ice has about 10inches of good ice the rest is pretty bad, probably my last time out this season

Was out on pasqua today at wambach from 830 to 1 two of us caught 16 wallys 2 were 1.5 and one was 3 lbs all the rest were a pound or less no little ones.  ice wasn't at all too bad . we counted a total of ten people on all of pasqua and about the same on echo. Looks like most have called it quits for the year. Tks gkomo

Still time yet? Tomorrows the last day, unless your fishing stocked trout waters or the northern zone? lol
