Cub Creek Reservoir
« on: Nov 21, 2015, 01:55 PM »
Hello all. Season is almost here!
I might be going deer hunting in December near cub creek reservoir which is just west of spring view. Anyone know anything about this lake and have any tips for ice fishin there? It's not very big but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has had success there.
Thanks

Years ago I know it had some decent fish in it but haven't heard anything recently. Sorry I can't help.

That's up around my old stompin grounds, used to fish it a lot, was a very good fishing hole at one time, only been on the ice on it once though, however did well on crappie and bluegill if I remember right, when I fished it there was a few muskie, some pike, bass, perch, bluegill, crappie, catfish. I could be wrong but I thought at one point a few walleye had been stocked in it also. Neat little puddle, well worth a try if its frozen over.
