on the hunt for ice

Went out to look for ice.... Montpelier res is all open water still. Blackfoot res was starting to freeze but all of the wind blew it off. It is all open water. Southeast Idaho is all open water still. The closest lake to being froze is Henrys lake....

some of the canals and ponds north of American Falls had about a half inch of ice on them last saturday, but that's very likely all gone now with yesterday's 50 degree weather and today's rain.

anything up around Idaho falls? (let's just kinda get a roll call for ice going)

There were guys on the ice at blackfoot res today at the dam. Chesterfield field needs some more cold weather to be safe.

Drove by Blackfoot res. today looks like it caped spotty won't be long with the cold temps coming

about an inch of ice around the docks at one of the local ponds in pocatello. still some open water in the middle, but fishing through a hole in the ice felt good!

What do they catch on that side of Idaho Falls? I'm VERY new to the area and I'm looking for the next good bite!
