The hunt is on
« on: Nov 18, 2015, 10:50 PM »
Looking to go ice hunting this weekend. Heading west from SW wyoming. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a snowmobile but I'm not afraid to hike in a ways. TIA

I don't think there is any ice anywhere.  Pretty sure the wind has taken care of the.

Probably lots of fishable ice in Wyoming right now also.  Not sure what they're waiting for. ;D

We're waiting for the 70 mph wind gusts to stop blowing! Lol.

Well I was going to go for a hike and find some ice this weekend but we got 6 inches of snow last night in town which means over a foot where I was going to go. Not so sure I want to fight that so now back to the drawing board. I have no doubt that we have fishable ice right now might just be a pain to get to. Today's forecast is -8,24 so we are heading in the right direction.

I am definitely convinced that there is ice in the high elevations but getting there is the only thing putting the brakes on it. Might have to suck It up tho.
