That snow/sleet was awesome. Resulted in 14 mallards and 2 shy of our 4 man limit in about 10 minutes. One of the most unreal hunts I've been on for ducks.

was fishing in port huron when the white stuff called  sleet started to fall...spent three day on the side of the river fishing buddy and me end up with our limit plus a steel head....  but ya that white stuff was cold!

WOW!!  That's gonna be a lot of snow!  My wife's friend in Nebraska said they got hit last night.  Can't believe someone would go through on a motorcycle!  But good for him if it is his only way to get to work!  Wish I could find guys to hire like that in the oil field.  Like they say, "It's hard finding good help!!".

Still deer hunting here but thinking a LOT about first trips on the ice as I sit in my blind. Seeing a lot less deer the last few days. Only saw 17 this morning and only small bucks. Glad I have a good deer herd here to help time pass waiting for first ice!

We got a foot of snow yesterday. This morning about 5:40, a power station blew and we haven't had power since. I like winter but this one is starting off wrong

About 6"-7" of real heavy stuff on the ground at the moment. Radar shows we're only about 2/3 done with it. 50* and rain by Thanksgiving.

Drove in to Lansing last night, there must have been 10 accidents, police cars and tow trucks were out. You know how it is with the first snow.....

Im trying not to get to excited because the temperatures will be going back up for Christmas and into New Years..........pretty disgusted with mother nature right now! I have an uncontrollable twitch that wont seem to go away!
