Earliest outing

First off OBVIOUSLY we're all anxious , I didn't even want to post this yet but....roughly what was the earliest date you guys have ever ice fished in rhode island

I remember fishing 2 weeks before X-mas a few years back....... so lets say about Mid December. Boy would that be nice.

that's the earliest I remember about a week or so before Christmas  around here any way you get some up north in the higher elevations

Yes, before thanksgiving a few years back.  It's generally a week or two before Christmas...

The storm in the Midwest brings hope for our season and is contrary to the NOAA weather models.

wont be any early ice this year second week of january  possible

Maybe we'll have to drive our ice gear down south this year instead of north
